Ricardo J. Murga

Ricardo J. Murga is a Senior Associate Attorney at Sanabria & Associates PLLC in Silvery Spring, MD, where he leads the Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Department. He is a home-grown member of the Sanabria & Associates family, beginning as a paralegal in 2018. 
Ricardo earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park, while studying Government and Politics with a minor in U.S. Latino Studies. Ricardo graduated law school from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he represented clients as a student attorney under the supervision of the UB Immigrant Rights Clinic. Ricardo also served as President for both the Latin American Law Student Association and Immigrant Law Society at his school. During his time as President, his board kickstarted a fundraiser that helped fund applications for DACA recipients, covering legal costs and government fees. Additionally, his organizations participated in leadership programs focused on guiding local Baltimorean high school students through the college application process.
Ricardo represents clients in state court for custody hearings that have led to immigration benefits. Concurrently, Ricardo represents clients in divorce and removal defense hearings to protect and serve his clients. Ricardo has given hundreds of free consultations within the office and dedicates many hours of his personal time to reaching out to people in need of legal advice. 
Ricardo is a fluent English and Spanish speaker. He is licensed to practice and is a member of the State Bar of Maryland.
