CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Gary oversees the day-to-day management of the firm and focuses on business planning and the firm’s strategic direction that define the firm’s practices and policies. He oversees the firm’s administrative departments, which include financial services, human resources, information technology, customer service, marketing, practice support, pricing, recruitment, professional development and government relations.
Gary brings a wealth of legislative and governmental policy making experience from years downtown and on Capitol Hill; as a Professor of Law; and, most recently as a Disaster Recovery Specialist in the Office of Disaster Assistance at the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Gary earned his B.A. (magna cum laude) and M.B.A. (marketing) degrees from Hofstra University on Long Island, NY and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
Upon graduation he became Legislative Counsel for Corporate Taxation and International Trade to Rep. Raymond J. McGrath (NY-5), a member of the Committee on Ways & Means, U.S. House of Representatives.
For over 25 years Gary represented many of the country’s largest corporations as a registered legislative advocate before both houses of the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. Gary testified as a Subject Matter Expert/Expert Witness before the Committee on the Judiciary in the U.S. Senate and was an Adjunct Professor of Law in the LL.M. program of International Business and Trade Law at the Washington College of Law at American University.

Gunther Sanabria was born in Lima, Peru. He moved to the United States during the Summer of 1991. He attended the University of Florida, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1998. Gunther received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida School of Law and his LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law at the Washington College of Law at American University.
Since his admission to the Florida Bar in 2004 and the District of Columbia in 2006, Gunther’s initial area of practice was criminal law. As a recent graduate, Gunther was assigned to the Domestic Violence Division of the Palm Beach County Office of the State Attorney of Florida. Later, Gunther’s jury trial experience landed him a position as an insurance defense attorney representing some of the largest insurance carriers of the country.
