Attorney Kristina Trujillo

Attorney Kristina Trujillo

Born and raised in South Florida to Cuban immigrants, Kristina Trujillo inherently possesses an affection for all immigration matters. She received her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University where she studied liberal arts with a minor in criminal justice. While pursuing her degree, she worked as a paralegal for bankruptcy, criminal, and civil litigation firms.

Drawing from those experiences, she enrolled in Florida International University College of Law, and while there, interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney Office. Afterward, Kristina served as a student attorney at the FIU Immigration and Human Rights Clinic which tasked her primarily with asylum and removal defense cases. An experience she found deeply rewarding and which would propel her towards immigration law.

Kristina spent her last semester at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and interned at the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration in Washington, D.C. While at the Commission, she assisted pro se detainees across the country with their cases. After graduating from Florida International University in 2019, she joined Sanabria & Associates. Attorney Trujillo is a member of the Virginia Bar, fluent in both English and Spanish, and finds pride and joy in serving her community’s legal needs.
